Kish Free Zone Organization Chairman and Sharif University of Technology President Forge Transformative Collaboration with ICERS2024
Dr. Rahim Sarhangi, the CEO of Kish Free Zone Organization, and Rasool Jalili, the president of Sharif University of Technology, held a meeting to announce a collaboration with ICERS2024 in the fields of Tourism, Sustainable Urbanism, Petroleum, Gas, Petrochemical, and Blue Economy. Dr. Sarhangi deeply hoped that these projects would be a step forward through reaching the goals of this collaboration. During the meeting, it was also agreed to form a group to initiate negotiations.
UNIDO Representative in Iran Encourages Integration of Industry and Energy Sectors at ICERS2024 Meeting
On October 4th, 2023, Dr. Maryam Javan Shahraki, the UNIDO Representative in Iran, met with Dr. Madjid Abbaspour, the secretary, and head of the scientific committee of ICERS2024. During the meeting, Dr. Shahraki suggested adding “industry” and “energy” to the ICERS2024 program, citing a continuous relationship between the two fields. The meeting also covered various topics, including the organization of workshops in collaboration with projects, universities, and private organizations, as well as participation in Forum 2023 in Vienna. As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached between the Sharif University of Technology and UNIDO.
